Craziness

Oh, my goodness. The weather has got to change and soon! I can only blame this constant snow/ice and freezing cold to be the cause of everyone in my house going crazy. It's not only my kids, but it's my dogs too. Everyone has been way more hyper than normal (including both dogs and my older dog, Scooby, a 6 1/2 year old Shih-Tzu is usually verrrrry lazy). Emma's running around the house back and forth and talking nonstop. Brandon who is recovering from the flu, actually, I'd say he's fully recovered now, is driving me insane. Plus I just caught my one-year-old shorkie (shih-tzu/yorkie mix), Belle, on my kitchen table. She's never done that before, and she's starting to chew on Emma's toys again! In case you're wondering, yes there are plenty of different raw hides for her to chew on instead, but apparently there's something irresistable in her toys.
As I said, Brandon is just getting over the flu, I was sick over the weekend, and Emma was sick last weekend. This has to stop. I never get the flu, and I've had it twice this season. One funny, is that for a few days after Emma was sick she was gassy. The funny part is that she blames her daddy every time even if he's not here. She went out in the car with him and she comes home and tells me that daddy tooted in her car seat! I about died laughing.

Now for something cuter. At Emma's preschool they let the kids with summer birthdays bring special treats for their half birthdays. Well, her turn was today, and that helped increase her enthusiam as she went around saying that today was her half birthday and she is now 3 1/2. She gets to school and she puts on this big blue velvet dress-up dress, with a pink headband with ribbons streaming down, and of course beads (what outfit would have been complete without beads?). Not only that but she got a stroller, put a baby in it, and grabbed a vase with plastic flowers in it in her arms. She looked like a little bag lady! It was so cute.
