More Ramblings

For those of you that have read about my previous troubles with Sears and them not delivering my appliances as scheduled, let me update you on what happened. They never came in because Sears never actually ordered them. Do you think they offered to order them? No they did not. Thank goodness for Menards, who delivered my much missed dishwasher promptly. If all that wasn't bad enough, of course there was more trouble to come. The plumbers installed the dishwasher, but could get no power. I had to call the electrician to come and fix the problem. I didn't think it would ever run, but now all is good finally and I no longer have to wash dishes by hand (how primitive)!

My son's birthday party was almost 1 1/2 months ago, and amazingly one of the kids who attended told him that they were no longer allowed to go to his birthday parties because kids were putting their faces in their cake, and that Bran was rude to him and his sister. This was a pool party and the kids in question came and sat and drew pictures because their mom (someone I'd been friends with for almost 20 years) said they had ear infections. Who brings kids to a pool party when they can't get in? Also, this supposed friend left without even saying bye, and didn't even tell me about any of these problems. Honestly, we haven't spoken much during the past year, we've honestly just drifted apart, and have different priorities at this time. I'm lucky to have some good friends in my life who are there to listen to me vent, encourage me, and just listen.

Obviously I wasn't the only one with pms this last week. My dear hubby and I got into a discussion of other things he could do to help out on Sunday besides laundry, and he actually said he would take care of it and I could sit on my butt and eat bonbons. Amazingly enough he is still alive, and has since apologized profusely. I have been doing very good on my diet, and Marla and I have been continuing to exercise! (miracles or miracles)

If my husband offered to do the laundry while I ate bons bons I would be sure to make a huge mess so that he would be doing laundry all day! Only then, would he understand how much laundry I do on a weekly basis!

Thanks for stopping by!
